PURPOSE: To reduce the likelihood of continued drug use by providing education about the legal, physiological and psychological effects of drug use.

PROCEDURE: The Drug Information School is an eight (8) hour class. It includes lecture, videotape and a self assessment. A pre- and post-alcohol and drug knowledge assessment is completed.

FEES: $100.00 paid by cash or money order at the time of the school.

ACCESS/REFERRAL: The school is offered only in Pittsburg at the present time. The need for this service is determined by the ADSAP Evaluator or the court.  Classes are scheduled as needed.
