PURPOSE: To assist individual’s with significant impairments and/or disabilities in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment.

PROCEDURE: Individual’s with significant impairments and/or disabilities, who need assistance in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment, should contact, or be referred to Family Life Center’s Vocational Specialist. Upon referral, the individual will be assessed for appropriateness for the program. If deemed appropriate, the individual will be assisted in completing the necessary steps in order to be determined eligible for services. Kansas Rehab Services will assign Family Life Center as the individual’s designated Supported Employment Service Provider and the Vocational Specialist will assist the individual with the employment process and to overcome any related obstacles.

FEES: No fee to participant. Family Life Center, Inc. has a fee-for-service contract with Kansas Rehab Services to provide this service to eligible individuals.
