Family Life Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit community mental health center providing a full continuum of care and access to services across Cherokee County, Kansas, through two office locations. FLC has a long and successful history of community mental health care and substance abuse service delivery to Southeast Kansas. Driven by a commitment to serving unmet behavioral healthcare needs of the area, FLC has collaborated with both public and private organizations to find effective solutions to ‘fill the gaps” that exist in this rural, southeastern part of the state. FLC has provided services since 1981 and currently serves approximately 1200 county residents every year and serves approximately 1000 residents of surrounding counties through programs administered for the 11th Judicial District.

FLC remains committed to its mission to enhance, promote and provide quality, professional behavioral healthcare services to individuals and families of Cherokee County. We are also committed to partnering with other agencies to assist them in meeting their goals for those they serve.

There are over 80 employees to assist you…we believe in what we do and it shows…in our history, in our programs and most importantly in the families and individual consumers we help with their treatment and recovery process and on their way to a more fulfilling life.
